About Tío Ger
After approximately an hour’s drive from Valencia Airport, you will arrive at our finca, which has been transformed into a villa. We have decorated the villa entirely to our own taste, with comfort and convenience playing a key role.
The house features six bedrooms, spread over two floors. In total, there are four bathrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances. Surrounding the house, you will find several terraces and sunbathing areas, a wonderful swimming pool, a small playground with equipment for the little ones, and two rooftop terraces offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.
Additionally, we provide ample parking space within our enclosed property.
Our villa is located just a 15-minute drive from the charming town of Xàtiva. With its picturesque streets, fountains, historic churches, a long shopping street, cozy restaurants, a museum, an impressive castle, and lively markets, Xàtiva is well worth a visit. You will also find larger supermarkets here. Furthermore, Xàtiva has an excellent train connection to Valencia, the city of Arts & Sciences.
The surrounding area offers beautiful walking trails through the orange groves as well as in the nearby hills and mountains. It is also a popular region for cyclists. Less than 20 km away, you will find La Galiana, which was named the best golf course in Spain in 2019.
Our house is the perfect base for those looking to enjoy the Spanish sun with family or friends while exploring the region. Of course, you can also choose to simply relax at the villa. Lounge by the pool, sit under one of our palm trees with a book, enjoy a meal and a good glass of wine on the terrace, reflect on life as the sun sets, and embrace the peaceful surroundings… In short, fully unwind and enjoy every moment.
About the Owner
Fifty years ago, my father purchased this finca. Due to a unique turn of events, he ended up in Spain and found the peace, silence, and space he had longed for. For years, he worked together with local farmers to maintain his orange grove and gardens, creating a place that we still cherish today.
After his passing, I completely renovated the house, adapting it to modern standards while also decorating it to my personal taste. I love spending time here, but I don’t stay all year round. That is why I want to share this wonderful place and beautiful home with others.
On the property, there is also a caretaker’s house, where you will regularly find one of my family members. We are happy to assist you with any questions or provide tips about the area.
